Position Overview

Technical Support Specialists are responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving technical issues to ensure users can operate systems, applications, and devices effectively. They provide professional technical guidance, support end-users, and help maintain smooth system performance. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, clear communication, and a customer-focused approach.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, system, and application-related issues.

Provide technical assistance to users through phone, chat, email, remote support, or ticketing systems.

Diagnose technical problems and deliver timely, accurate, and effective solutions.

Guide users through step-by-step troubleshooting procedures in a clear and professional manner.

Install, configure, and support software, devices, user accounts, and system access when required.

Log, track, update, and resolve support tickets according to company procedures and service-level standards.

Escalate complex or unresolved technical issues to the appropriate technical team or supervisor.

Maintain accurate records of issues, resolutions, troubleshooting steps, and follow-up actions.

Coordinate with IT teams and internal departments to support system reliability and service continuity.

Identify recurring technical concerns and recommend improvements to reduce future issues.

Qualifications and Requirements

Good verbal and written communication skills.

Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.

Basic to intermediate knowledge of computer hardware, software, operating systems, networks, and common business applications.

Experience with ticketing systems, remote support tools, helpdesk platforms, or IT service management tools is an advantage.

Ability to explain technical information clearly to non-technical users.

Customer-focused, patient, professional, and detail-oriented.

Ability to manage multiple support requests and work under pressure.

Previous experience in technical support, IT support, service desk, helpdesk, or BPO technical roles is an advantage.

Willingness to work on shifting schedules, weekends, or holidays when required.

Fresh graduates with IT-related education or strong technical aptitude are welcome to apply.
